Porthtowan is one of Cornwall’s most popular surf beaches, tucked into a dramatic valley on the north coast between St Agnes and Portreath. Its west-facing beach gets plenty of Atlantic swell, making it a reliable option when the conditions are right.

Tucked between Newquay and Padstow, Mawgan Porth is one of those beaches that often flies under the radar compared to some of Cornwall's more famous surf spots.
